The Twelfth Day of Christmas Traditions & Printables: Rest & Remember
Christmas is close now.
Can you feel it in your soul? That gentle tug to still? That ever-so-quiet nod to hush?
Last-minute details may be tugging and pulling at you...there may still be gifts not-yet-wrapped and food not-yet-cooked...but beneath it all is a soul-deep need to simply slow.
We work so hard to make Christmas perfect, when all we really need to make is space for Jesus.
Now is the time to slow...now is the time to rest and remember.
Take a moment to hush all the hurry. Set aside all that is still undone. Simply still and quiet.
Rest your worries. Rest your cares. Rest the stress and the lists and all the striving and the trying. Rest in His arms, rest in His love, rest in His presence. Jesus has come. He is Immanuel - God is with us. Our redeemer is here. Rest in Him.
Remember His love. Remember His grace. Remember the miracle, the manger, the angels, the Good News. Remember the Story. Remember Jesus.
Merry Christmas, friends! More than anything you do this Christmas season, may you and your family find time to simply rest in Jesus and remember His great love for you.
